Dayummmmm...got there at 1030am... all I got to say is...worth every moment.. I was driving home to Georgia from Chicago and we decided to try this spot because Hattie Bs wasn't hittin the last time we came thru.. the best Dayum fish sandwich...
Great food great service! I hadn't eaten there in years but it's a great place to go grab a meal! The fish is fabulous, fries were perfect! Great value for the money! I'll be back soon! Great place Ed!
The best fish sandwich in Nashville. The food truck is located on the corner of the parking lot of Comptons Grocery Store on the peninsula (Priest Lake area/Smith Springs Rd). The fish is prepared to order so it takes a few minutes to prepare but we'll worth the wait. I ordered onsite. You park, place order, pay (cash/card), and they will call when it's done. There is no seating available. It's a grab your food and go. Service is good and unpretentious. Lots of food for the money. My sandwich came with three large pieces of fish. They were out of coleslaw when I was there. Definitely worth a visit if you want a great fish sandwich.
We all ordered the catfish. Really fresh taste and coated perfectly with corn meal. If I lived here, I would have to eat this once a week.
Best whiting and catfish sandwiches and plates in town! Ed has been in this location, in a food truck, for 10 years, but has been in business over 40 years (regularly scores 100 on Codes inspections!). Food is cooked fresh when ordered and served piping hot. Fish plates are a feast with homemade spaghetti, cole slaw, and cornbread. Highly recommended!
